Engine Swap Questions
Hey guys. Im wondering what all entails a motor swap in these OBSs. Does the cab need pulled? Would it be easier to take the tranny out too? Anything to watch out for and any advice? Thanks guys!

pulled mine with no problem out the top with turbo still on and AC moved out of the way. 96 with e4od
A 5 speed may pose more trouble with the input shaft. Don't know on them both my truck's are auto's
raised them up away from trans and turned it almost 90 degree's clockwise came right out

i leave the trans in unless i am also doing trans work. even then, i pull them as separate pieces.
to pull the engine you really even need to remove is the hood.
but pulling the hood makes for easy access.
pulling the nose clip just makes it even easier.
