E4od / ZF5 speed swap question

E4od / ZF5 speed swap question
I'm in the process of swapping out my e4od for a zf5 speed. Does anyone know if the auto cross member can be used the the zf5 with a new trans mount? If heard people say yes and no bit not a definite answer. I'm aware it would have to be moved forward for the difference in trans lengths. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

No it's different. I was just at the junk yards looking for one for my T18 swap. Looks similar, but I don't think it'll work. The auto crossmember swings around the frame on the passenger and on the inside on the manuals. Gotta find one that has that transmission. Fits the small engine family.

where did you end up finding one? I haven't been able to find one anywhere not even on ebay.
