Sig pic. 2x4 tube side rails, square steel tube everywhere, 3/8 tread steel deck, 2x4 channel for cross support (side to side), 4x6 runners for main support front to back, angle iron reinforced rear vertical. truck boxes both sides in front of rear wheels (not in pic). And a hidden gooseneck ball.
Ask if you want more details or pics.

JJ Abrams would be impressed with that lens flair.

that thing seems to sit on the frame rails. how much wheel clearance do you have when loaded.
we have to raise our bed up to clear 35's on the dmax, when the toy hauler is hooked up, the rails are too close.

No less clearance than what you see there. I have not gotten it to sit any lower even with a 36' toy hauler on it in the *bumper pull configuration. Used to deliver trailers to the dealers (out of Indiana), and have had a 40' bumper pull trailer on it.

The * means I don't actually have a bumper on it, but have a hitch to pull with.

I have NEVER worried about clearance issues before.

Not really lens flare, just reflection of the sun. The sun is at my back in the pic.

thanks for all the reply's. i really need all the ideas to pull from. im worried that with 315's on the dually and flex will rub tires.

i've got this truck and a "6.0 hot no start" i've got to tool on, then after my rv pad gets poured i might be able to get to my flat bed.

i'll post video up of our duramax build.

I'm not sure what all the materials were but my grandpa made that back in the early 90's. That's on my 460 with 35's. It's pretty heavy duty. He made it to haul 2 snowmobiles and dirt. Not at the same time...

Never had any rub issues with it. I dont wheel it super hard but it's been offroaded some, and done quite a bit of hunting and ranch work.
