Air Gap

Trying to remove the AC clutch plate to close up some of the air gap I have. What is the trick to keep the compressor from spinning and removing the 8mm bolt in the front of the compressor. I have tried turning the key on and turning the AC on trying to lock the compressor that way. But that is not engaging the compressor. Any ideas?

There is a special tool that will hold the clutch disk still then break loose the bolt with a 3/8 impact useually works.

use a 3/8 air-box gun and you will just have to watch the nut come off, then you will need a clutch puller to remove the clutch
