OK... a hard-code SES light. This is not the normal overboost situation and we can stop looking at OCRs for the time being. Chris will need to get a good look at the EBP, BARO, MAP, EBPV duty cycle, EOT at the time of the event, and that wastegate solenoid before we know the next step.
I say EOT because depending on the tune, the truck is fully capable of doing weird things with cold oil... it's happened to me.
I got my 7.3 pc/ed with my ae in the truck at all times...
IF there is a problem...
We will find it.
Tug... how about we do another thread for AE Advanced class... we can colaborate and amass data to illustrate the subtle nuances the advanced wrencher can put to use. Things like this are (pending findings) those subtle nuances once we start modding...
In advanced ae class we can go over pre vs. Post mod effects on ae readings...
Determining hp from ae...
Rotational velocity
Hpop health test
Etc...
Think it might make it easier to navigate. I agree that a new thread for every ae test wouldnt work...
But splitting between how to operate ae... and how to interpret what its saying can easily be split up to cut the overload factor...
What say you?
Thread hijack ended...
You may now move about the cabin...
