how to remove wiper switch knob?

I forgot ... I looked through a box of radio *****, volume *****, etc collected over the years when throwing something away, many had brass inserts and a small set screw and are well suited to these shafts with a flat. Picked one and it fit and works. Not a perfect match to the head light ****, but it works about 200% perfect.
My OEM one was a loose fit and after years use ... it got to where it wouldn't turn the shaft without my "finessing" it, or it would just fall off. It's stored in the ash tray now.
