Removing switch

Hey,

Uh...well...my windshield wiper motor is in...but for some damn reason the switch went out. How would I go about removing, fixing, or replacing it?

I believe the **** comes off, and then you unscrew the retainer inside the ring that says wipers.

Does the **** pop off or screw off?

It has a set screw on it's side loosen it and it will pull right off.

What about electrical connections, anything to look for, like, problems in the switch?

The connector just unplugs, take it with you to a salvage yard and get another. If you were close to me, I would give you one. I was up at our farm last week and had my old one in my hand. I actually have both styles because I upgraded my syatem and have delays installed.
