Brighter Backup Lights - Help Please
Some pics:

Here is a link to a reverse light install from the F-150 forum. Used some Rigid lights that might work better with a little fab work, as I think your holes are a bit bigger.
They look like mine from NAPA. I have 4 of them. started with 2 but wanted a wider spread. They are hooked to an up-fitter. There good for seeing at night with mirrors but you can actually see better with the back up cam with them off. Much better. Bright spots screw up the camera.

I plan on replacing my fogs with Baja Designs Squadrons.

And lastly if I'm not broke... A Baja Designs OnX light bar?

The OnX on my bike

The reason I like these lights the best is that the little reflectors can be swapped out easlily between spot, driving and flood. And you can combo whatever you suits your needs. You can also replace the outter lens with orange, blue, red, green... Or diffuser. The OnX also has a strobe mode.
These are top of the line LEDs with the price to match it. But to me lighting is everything.

Sealed, 6-1/2" Oval LED Trailer Utility Light, Flange Mount, 10 Super Diode - Clear Optronics Trailer Lights BUL78CB
I also considered replacing the stock truck backup lights with LED bulbs and replacing the bumper lights with red LEDs tied to the brake lights for added visibility.

White Night Rear Lighting System, Truck SUV Reverse Lights
These require that you put their dual Halogen lights on your Hitch Stinger. It is wired directly to reverse and also has a separate switch so you can turn them on for working at the rear of you vehicle without being in Reverse.
I had them on my 2000 F-250SD and when I sold the truck this past winter I left them on it as the new buyer really liked them too.
I have yet to get the White Night kit for my 2012 F-350 but I plan to.

Where it helps is not necessarily backing up as the 2012 back up cameras are pretty good at night. But it works best when I'm physically hooking up the trailer. No need for a flashlight, I can just work on hooking everything up with nice bright light.
