Heading out to 'de-winterize' the boat in just a few minutes and get it ready to head to Detroit Lake up in the lower Cascades Mountains tomorrow afternoon.

i'm jealous!
i'm trying to find my 'city' permit to hit the lakes in city limits here. sucks having to buy a state AND city fishing license. oh well, just one great big ol' channel cat will make it all worth it

Wow pumped I found this thread. I'm a big deer hunter and I'm currently training my first waterfowl dog this year. Here's an 8 pointer I killed last October on the Maryland Eastern Shore, and the pup.

That's a real nice looking deer! And a good looking dog as well. Good luck with the training. I'm looking forward to getting out in a couple weeks for our turkey season.

My wife loves to fish with me. She’s wanting a bow now to start shooting with me and our kids. Both of our sons shoot bows and our daughter got her first bow last Christmas. She says she wants to start hunting. We shall see.

A bit like foxes down here. Although there are some that will cook them up and eat them.

I'll stick to Deer, Rabbit and Hare for the table.
A Buddy is currently breeding Pheasant, so I'll be keen to give that a crack soon.

this was my hunt today, went to state land that was stocked on Christmas Eve...was told I'd never get any LOL my old man did GREAT

Nice.
Just got back from a week camping by the sea. Had the fishing gear, but no luck on the fish.
Saw plenty of rabbit sign, but didn't pack a rifle.
