Must have a healthy population with that kind of harvest.
We do. A lot of farm fields around here, mixed with plenty of river bottoms and woods. This is a typical year for us. Our group consist of about 10 -12 guys depending on year, and average about 10 deer a year. We even let quite a few go.
Last fall in Eastern Washington with my buddies. One was driving from JBLM Lewis McCord to New York on his way to Afghanistan and we drove over to get the last hunt before he left.
Hopefully we will meet up again in the fall in North Dakota or South for another hunt.
