I was at big lots shopping with my wife and went over to the electronics section and saw some really low priced ipad type stuff in all different sizes. They had one that was under $49.00 with a4x6 inch screen snd was blue tooth, get the blue tooth addapter for $18.00 and the program of your choice and a mount (which they had there too ) and you have a bigger screen and your phone is freed up.......just food for thought ......Bill
I'm sure one of the compu guys out there will figure it out, I'm thinking about getting one and even if it doesn't work I have a small tablet for out in the garage that I won't care about getting geased up. Question Josh, couldn't you just download the stuff off the net and it would have the program ?

I'm not entirely sure what operating systems many of the tablets use, but Torque needs Android and DashBoss needs iOS (and its own OBD gateway)
If the Tablet is running Windows Mobile there are a couple apps for that, but I have no idea how well they play with the 6.0. Maybe read and clear codes, but actually monitoring the sensors I have my doubts.
I understand,.....well it was a idea.I was just tryin to help out those on a low budget.Lord knows we all could use a break !
There are some new cheap Droid tablets, but the best bang for the buck is a used Droid tablet or phone, eBay Bluetooth OBD adaptor and either the free or paid version of Torque.
A person would be well under $100 with that setup.
