Why do you just drive it to find out?

10-12 would be my best guess.

I've owned it a month. The tires are a smaller diameter on wide rims.
The spark plugs are rusty. I'm sure the carb needs some fine tuning too.
The gas tank neck is a bear to fill. I do not really know when the tank is full.
Lots of variables. Therefore, the original question.

I agree with montana. FE's are tough as nails but always thirsty.

Well, my brother reported his 69 F100 (360-2V/C6 and 3.25 rear gears) managed 15.7 MPG at 65 MPH down I-5 (straight and boring!!) from SF to LA.

Drive like a nun!!!!

If you had a 4 speed... Its not uncommon to see 15~16mpg on the freeway. With that C6 12~13mpg. Headers, hot ignition and a few other goodies sure do help the FE.

My 77 F-150/C-6/460 got 10-12 but never more than that.

Now I'm looking for a 300 Six to replace that 460, hoping for better mileage.
