She Lives!!!!!
Finally, I got the ole girl fired up! Some of you know, I'm about to wrap up a auto to manual transmission swap in my truck. Also pulled the engine to reseal the oil pan, dip stick, and front timing cover. (I despise oil leaks) Been trying to get her to start for a few days now. Broke my FPR in the process. Found one this morning for $20.00. Got it all together and still no start. Just on a whim, I decided to take some of the wire connections under the hood apart and inspect the pins, trying to start after hooking each one back up. After hooking the wire harness back to the IDM, she fired right up. Maybe one pin wasn't making good connection, or box not grounding to fender good enough? I don't know, but when I heard the sweet sound of that 7.3 roar to life I danced a little jig right there in front of God and everybody!! Now to pick up my drive shafts tomorrow, install all new u-joints and get them under the truck so I can test drive it!! WooHoo!!
