Just read both of those threads. Sounds like your truck just won't whistle for ya, that really sucks. I'm not hearing much whistle either but it's getting there. Found out today I've got a coolant leak

. Firewall modifications were a lot more than I expected. The intake should be interesting, what did it cost you?

cost was the price of the filter like $55 iirc, and the price of the silicone boot like $20 iirc. the pipe was left over from my exhaust

Usually you just have to bend over the pinch weld on the firewall. Pretty easy to do with a big pipe or pry bar.

Seemed to me the Diamond Eye had alot of joints too.
