So recently my truck decided to choose days to run. i have to crank and crank and crank atleast 3 times and maybe it will start. just maybe. i dont know what it could be, i just replaced the lift pump, i have brand new batteries with tight connections. i unplugged the fuel bowl heater connected to the icp.. or pcm.. one of those abreviations.. the tach moves so that means crank sensor isnt bad right? im out of ideas.... i need my truck as it is my only driver. any help please!!!!

Some days it runs just fine and others it doesn't? For 25 bucks CPS isn't a bad place to start. Just because you have a tach reading doesn't mean it's not bad. Make sure to get a Motorcraft or International one.
Check your hpop level, maybe the oil is bleeding down. Does the start and no start have any relation to how long it sits?
It could be because it will start first thing in the morning. And II drive it till it is warm then shut it off and then it wont start until it cools down

Yeah, before you start it in the morning check the hpop level and then again when you start it warm. But, from what your saying here it could be the IPR o rings need replaced.

That's what mine would do when the IPR o rings went.
im still learning abreviations. ipr stands for??? i talk to a good ford mechanic body of mine and we decided to unplug (i believe) IPR.. the sensor for the rail pressure? right next to the fuel bowl on the head. unplugged it and now it fires so i will change that sensor. ill hopefully be throwing in injectors soon, ive been puffing alot of white and blue and they are the original injectors so might make a difference.. might not
The hpop (high pressure oil pump) is on the front center of the motor. Look down on the back side and its mounted under there. There is a wire connector on it. Its hard to get at with the fuel filter bowl there, most take that out to get to it.
