Update: a few weeks ago I took the truck to minuteman truck (sponsor) in Walpole, MA.
Turned out it was a two part issue... a "jumper" line from the HPOP to the oil rails was loose under the valve cover causing the HPOP res to drain and the injector O-rings where worn out. Both were repaired within 24 hours. Truck runs better now than the day I picked it up.
