hey been out for awhile... Dam& work, i have been noticing hard starts lately with blue smoke that clears up after i start driving.. today when i was leaving work i cranked over pretty hard a couple times it seems to only drink a little over a quart every 4-5000 miles... of oil. all glow plugs the relay and connections have around 8-10000 miles on them, should still be good right?i'm wondering if it could be hpop or batteries?? i wish i knew more but that's is why i frequent this site it seems perfectly fine when i plug it in at night and during the day? thanks for any input!!!
Sounds like injector o rings are going. Weak batteries should just cause a hard or no start if theyre too weak. HPOP is a possibilty but I wouldnt start there Id look for other possibilities first, or at least cheaper ones.
i take it injector o rings aren't to bad to do? never done them..my truck has 157,000 i really can't be without right now.. is there a good way to check or test to see if that is the problem?? thanks
