Wonder why they don't show them listed for a 96. I bet they fit anyway. I have an exhaust leak at the manifold and when I looked, I noticed there is a bolt missing... typical for this truck since the previous owner had some bolts missing in his brain too. Bet I find the "missing" bolt snapped off in the head. Hopefully not, but regardless, I want to fix it anyway which of course involves pulling the manifold, so I'll just replace them with a nice set of headers while I'm in there.
Headers listed for up to 95 probably don't have O2 sensor bungs in them for the 96 OBDII.
Got the leak stopped. It sounds good real deep sound, not real loud. I think I am only going to use the one pipe on there rear and have the muffler shop bend me a piece to go over to the other side. Seems to run better have not drove it yet so cant tell you if there are any increases or not. I am going to pressure wash the sides of the motor and replace the fenders before I put the wheel wells back in. Mine are rusty and I just picked up a set of clean straight ones. I will post some pics tomorrow. its up high enough that you cant see it from the passenger side.
