I have a 95 bronco with a 351. I want to upgrade my stock exhaust system to headers and 3 in. dual pipes. My questions are 1. which is better, full length headers or shorties? 2. I have heard that full length headers produce more torque, is this true? if so which brands should I look into?

I would go with shorties for the simple fact they are a little earsier to install and do not hang down as far. I JUST ordered a set of smog legal shorty headers from Summit for 165.95 plus 19.95 for overnight shipment. Call Summit to get the right set for your application.
if you skimp on headers you will pay with bad quality and leaking headers. I suggest shorties as well for easy of install. gibson, edelbrock, jba and bassini are all great.
I would not go dual 3" unless your running some serious HP above 400hp. get headers of your choice, Bassini Y pipe and hi flow cat with 3" exhaust out the stock location. this will produce better low end an gains then a dual 3" in your application
