351w heads - worth anything?

I got a set of these... I know lots of heads barely qualify as a paper weight... Kinda wondering what, if anything these are worth on craigslist. Thx

They look like the "rail" rocker type. They are a bit desireable if they are C9OE or D0OE, especially if they already have hardened exhaust valve seats installed.

How about a picture of the other (combustion chamber) side, so we can see the engineering (aka casting) numbers?

It looks like they are the D0OE... Here are some pics. There is a little surface rust forming. I am gonna spray some oil or something on it to keep it from getting worse. Should clean up easy enough.

Well that's a good lot of photos. The date code indicates the casting was made on June 22nd, 1973.

What makes the C9OE and D0OE heads better is large valves and ports and small combustion chambers. Way back when, they were the "good" heads to get.

If you are lucky, you might get away with a light hand sanding of the gasket surfaces and hand lapping of the valves. By taking out the exhaust valves, you will see if there are hardened seats installed.

Is it possible to see this by simply compressing the spring? What would you say they are worth.

As is, about $100 for the pair. I can't tell from the pics, but are the intake side coolant ports "L" shaped ?
