Quick google of ECT is probably cold engine. I hadn't ran it at all to get it warm. Didn't realize that I needed to.
So, if I'm reading correctly, that may be the first one. Engine runs fine but transmission is slipping, clunking when I shift from park and hunting when I'm driving.
What does ECT out of self test range mean? Am I reading the codes wrong?
Thanks!
I think your truck will have 2 digit codes, also all code are always repeated, so you have 11, 11, 67, 67.. The 11 is all clear for the KOEO portion of the test. The 67 is probably from CM part of the test..
Thanks - I was assuming it was three for some reason. Would the Neutral safety circuit failure cause transmission to go funky? I can certainly go get a new one and replace it ...
Limp mode is what Ford gave you to get home or to a shop when something goes wrong... It's protecting it's self.....
The E4OD goes to full line pressure and it slams as it shifts gears, it is designed to go full pressure to keep it from slipping and burning itself up.
A little searching for limp mode and E4OD will get you a lot of info..
