I just did a brake job in October new seals rotors and pads repacked the bearings calipers are in good shape not sticking or pulling. I have about 2500 miles on them and starting to pulsate I do not know why this has been going on for a while the last set did this also I am not a hard brake user and I was extra careful on these so they would last.Any ideas what is the problem the truck is a 1997 F250hd 4wd with the split axel and they are a pain to change the way it is set up.
This is normally caused by warped rotors. Did you replace the rotors? Or just have them resurfaced? Because if your rotors are too thin they will warp more easily.

i guess it doesnt mean much if he got the cheap ones as i found they can be warped right out of the box did you check the new ones for any imperfections like a slight bulge (second time i bought cheap ones and the last) or anything like that, are they stock style rotors or are they cross drilled and vented
They were new rotors I did not look real close to see if there was any surface distortion, they were not the cheap ones probably mid price.Maybe I should have got factory ones I don't know.
do they do anything else like shake the wheel or anything when you hit the brakes or does the pedal just pulsate
This is an important question as it can be the difference between your fronts or the rear brakes. When you apply the brakes does the steering wheel wobble? Do you feel it in the brake pedal? Or do you feel the entire truck wobbling?
On a 4x4 it is possible to warp the rotors when you are pulling the wheel studs thru the hub - I think Ford recommends turning the new rotors after you have the hub installed.
