I just bought a 73 f250 w/360 and owner said they tried towing it and something snapped which lead to radiator fluid leaking all over.. I know the drain **** on the radiator is gone and radiator is dented in slightly.. All I see is a hole in the bottom of the radiator, doesnt look like it has threads either.. Is the a piece of metal missing?? what does the original piece of radiator drain look like?? I bought I 1/4 inch drain **** and its not big enough but the only other size the parts store had was 1/8 inch... Am I missing something here? Did my $5 fix turn into a new radiator fix $250+???

The insert that is soldered to the lower tank that the drain plug threads into has gone missing. Take it to a radiator shop, they'll install a new insert/drain plug.
