Last night I drained and flushed the radiator. When I was unscrewing the plug, (with my fingers) the @$#! thing just broke off in my hand. I have tried to unscrew all the way with no luck. Is there some trick to getting it all the way out? I'm talking about the small plastic plug. Go to the stealership for the new part? Any help is much apprecieated.
Just go to your local radiator shop. Many model pet***** are interchangeable, ours included. I think I paid $10 for three of them (I plan on breaking them regularly, unfortunately).
Just bring the pieces with you.
As to getting the last piece out of the radiator, try using a needle-nose pliers or something to push out against the threads and rotate. There's an o-ring on the very end which might give you some resistance, but otherwise assuming you've got all the threaded section out, the rest should nearly fall out in your hands. good luck.
