Thanks for the reply wrench turner. I went with the jegs COP hopefully these are a better COP also. They should be arriving in the mail today and I'm going pick up some spark plugs and drop it off at the mechanic today. Hopefully the plugs and COP will fix my problem. Thanks again everyone.
OK I went to napa and asked for motorcraft spark plugs and was told all they sell is the autolite which is made by motorcraft so I bought them and also dropped the truck off well now Im looking at reviews of the autolites and it seems like the ford's dont like them and it really isnt made by motorcraft so I'll be calling him tom. and tell him Im going get the motorcrafts and return the autolites. Id rather be safe than sorry.
I bought the motor crafts and brought them to him. He said he always uses autolites and the motor crafts are the ones that use to break in the fords to begin with. After he looked at the motorcrafts he said it looks they started to weld the plugs in a different spot and might be better than before so he said he can put what ever I wanted in their so I told him go with motorcrafts and I would return the autolites. Should hear from him today so ill keep you updated.
Just picked up the truck and it's running awesome, no shakes or spudders. Hopefully everything is fixed but ill report back after a few more days/miles.
The only thing he found was the spark plugs were really worn out and cylinder #4 coil the heater hose was dripping on it which I have read that this was a known problem.
Coils from jegs next day air was around$250
Spark plugs were $110
And labor plus oil change was $290
$650 total and lets keep our fingers crossed this is it.
Thanks everyone for the help and tips. Ill keep checking the thread and report in a few days.
Sorry, I know I said leak but I was thinking of another thread I've read where it was a problem but he actually said the hose or hoses can't remember were rubbing it so I don't think their was a leak but if their ways I kinda hope he would have fixed it lol
Make sure you check the leak and get it fixed. I went through the same problem recently. Coolant leak over right bank of coils and spark plugs. Misfire codes. I ended up changing 3 coils and coolant hose. I had to blow out the coolant that collected over each spark plug. I didn't catch it in time and had to replace the right side cat.
Everything with spark plugs and coils are great. No spudders or anything. One thing I noticed is a ticking noise from the passenger side under the hood. Loud enough to hear in the driver seat. Doesnt matter if its warmed up. Thinking it could be the timing chain guide broken?

Get a mechanics stethoscope from Harbor Freight tools. They are $4. You can then pinpoint the noise while the engine is running. Could be a valve or injector. Timing chain tensioner guides usually rattle when you start them up for 2-5 seconds then quite down.
I wouldn't say it sounds like a rattle can. It's just a constant tick. The more gas I give it the more it ticks and faster it ticks. Do you think I should run some injector cleaner in the gas?

If you want but it's not going to cure a bad valve. How loud is it? Can you post a video or sound clip?
