turbo problems?
so lately my turbo has'nt been workin 100% i think. i used to be able to go up hills without downshifting, now the turbo won't spool up all the way unless the tranny downshifts and rpm's go up. at 50-60 mph in 5th gear when i give it a little go pedal the truck starts vibrating and only 6-9 psi boost until the downshift, then boost comes up and vibration goes away. i've cleaned the ebp sensor and tube and map sensor and hose, anybody have any ideas on what to check or test? thanks.

i was gonna clean it when i had it off a couple months ago but ran outta time. i know it has'nt been cleaned in almost 3 years/40000 miles, but i do exercise it regularly. cleaning it is my next plan, i just wanted some opinions before i tear it apart. is there a cleaning interval for the turbo or just clean when nessacery?

Could also be the soleniod not working right. If you don't want much down time I have a good working turbo I'm trying to sell for pretty cheap. I put a powermax on and don't need this one. But you could put mine on while you clean yours and have a spare. I have two stock turbos for if I ever needed one but with the powermax I don't need 3 lol.
