yeh, but they want a receipt.. I can't find mine.. and I can't remember who I bought them from. $150 from amazon for two. minor annoyance.

waiting for the truck to come back from ford service (mirror won't fold, transmission doesn't engage like normal after overnight soak).. before I can install them.

I put a set on my truck a few weeks ago. I don't know if I'll ever crawl under their to adjust them, so I set them at the middle setting. My truck had about 40,000 miles when I swapped the out and was getting a lot iv bounce on rough bridge expansion joints. The new shows definitely helped that. I'll be ready got news tire in September and I suspect that will fix any remaining bounce

Shocks and tires ( and pressure too) are the 2 biggest "improvements" that can happen to these trucks.

FX4 Stock Shocks

I took the stock "Rancho Branded" shocks off the 2016 F250 at 9000 miles. We were about to leave on a vacation up to Washington State, pulling out 23' toy hauler with both Harleys inside.

I didn't care much for the ride of the stock shocks and really disliked the bump steer even on paved roads. I went with the bilstein 5100 and a procomp dual steering stabilizer.

When I removed the stock shocks it was amusing to see the fake ranchos had a motorcraft part number and stamp on the bottom as well as fake boots on the front shocks. The rears dont even have the boots, lol.

The ride was much better with the bilsteins and the truck stayed reasonably level while towing. this was our first trip with the new toy hauler and the way the tie-downs are laid out, one of the bikes has to go fairly far forward and put some weight on the bumper pull. When we got to Washington, I pulled into the local Les Schwab and had airbags put on. 30 psi and the truck stays perfectly level.

15 psi in the bags empty and the truck rides very nicely.

Bill, what are the details on your toy hauler. I have one that has a gross weight of 11k and dry weight right at 8K. With my ATV in the back I have a tongue weight of 920 lbs in an otherwise dry trailer. I'm trying to set expectations on if I'm going to need air bags or not in the upcoming F-350 SRW.

Genesis Specs

Here are my specs.

I have a 2011 Street Glide and the wife has a 2016 Softail Deluxe. I am guessing the combined weight of the bikes at around 1100 lbs.

Yikes! Your trailer has a gross weight that is almost 3,000 lbs lower than mine and you put on air bags. That does not bode well for me.

So I finally put my 9000's on my truck. I set them all to 7 to start with, and to be honest I haven't bothered changing them. Hitting both front or both rear tires at the same time on a parking lot speed bump and such at low speeds is a lot stiffer and a little jarring, but the truck feels great on the road even through twisty roads in the Texas hill country.

I may get under there and change them all to 4's just to see how it is, but I really like them so far.

PS If anyone wants brakes that are awesome, go to Home and send him your info (year/make/model/4x4, etc). Order new centric premium rotors from rock auto or wherever and get the pads from him. Freaking awesome improvement over stock. While I had the truck up on the lift doing the shocks I did all the brakes and rotated the tires. Very productive day.
