Are those good on the previous trucks also? Just want to make sure you noticed he said a 2008. I don't know if anything changed.
The 2005 through 2013 F-350 4X4 SRW stock height trucks all use the same Rancho shock part numbers: RS999042 for the fronts, and RS999047 for the rears.

Reason: Added part numbers
The correct part numbers for the F-350 4X4 are RS999042 for the front, and RS999047 for the rear.
I put a set on a week ago. Tremendous improvement! I should have done it a long time ago.
Get them. You won't regret it.

Thanks Remeo I just received my Rancho 9000xl shocks from Summit yesterday. I will be put them on this weekend. Summit is a grate place to order from because they will price match I asked the salemen did they price match he reply to me yes we do. So I told him that Truckaddon had the same shocks as a set of four for xxx.xx and he put me on hold for about two mins and came back and said he can match that price that was joy to my ears.
I just ordered from the fine folks at Summit Racing. Like one or two others here experienced they had to go away for a couple of minutes then came back to say they'd price match.
I've bought from Summit before and they are a pleasure to deal with.
Further to that the $100 rebate is open to Canadians as well, so I've already got the forms and receipt printed and will get that in the mail in the next couple of days (I called Rancho and the info has to be mailed to them, I can't send PDFs).
It will be nice getting myself set up with these Ranchos for $225 instead of $750 at my favourite major Canadian chain.

Next stop, installation.
So how much did these cost to your door including shipping, tax, duty and brokerage fees? The Summit site is saying $527 including, shipping duty and tax but that doesn't include brokerage or USD-CAD conversion. I've been nailed by broker fees so many times that I rarely order from the US anymore.
I can get them at Crappy Tire for $600 for 4. Not sure if the rebate applies if you buy through Can Tire or not though. Do you know?
Just wondering if it's worth ordering them or just going across the street and getting them at Can Tire.
Just put mine on today also. What a difference. Wish I hadn't waited so long. I am running 6 in the front and 3 in back.
And when you upgrade again you will have an even better ride.
Too bad rancho refuses to address the issue with the crap R branded shocks that come on these vehicles .
Although I will say, the 9000's I had on the rear axle were marginally better then the factory shocks, changing them all to Bilsteins was the best step up.

I'm avoiding all that by having them shipped to the UPS Store just across the border, and will pick them up next weekend. We plan to be camping in NY state next weekend and will just bring them back as part of my duty free limit.
The Canadian dollar is around par with the USD so it's a wash there, and hopefully they will still be around par when my USD MasterCard bill comes in. I didn't use my CTC MasterCard because they charge 2.5% on any USD transactions, which drives me nuts.
Yes, the rebate is open to Canadians, so that's a bit of good news. If you go to the Rancho website they have a form posted to print out for their Canadian customers. I called to ask if I could email PDF copies of the form and my receipts but they said it had to be mailed in.
I installed the shocks today, at a leisurely pace, being a Saturday. The ride is definitely improved. Part of my test was to drive my route to work and there's one dip where the truck used to really bottom out hard. Now it's just fine. Success!
So what were the old shocks like on a 2011 with only 35,000 kilometres on the clock? Well, a pictures is worth a thousand words I suppose, and here are the old shocks, which I compressed about four hours before taking this picture. Only one re-extended.
Can your local Canadian Tire order them in for you? Or are there other CT stores near you? Around here we have seven or eight stores, so usually we can find what we're looking for. Speedy Muffler sells Rancho too.
Maybe a place like Summit Racing would be willing to ship by USPS/Canada Post if you ask them. I agree, I never use UPS for cross-border orders.
So where is the cheapest place to buy these online?
I purchased mine from 4wheelonline.com for $319.95, free shipping. Once the Rancho rebate shows up, it'll be a whopping $219.95 total. Not bad for a complete set of 9000XL's.
