Shocks
So, I'm looking to replace the stock shocks currently on my 2004 F250, 4x w/6.0.
I had a 2" lift installed back in 09. Fast forward,,,,,,,,,, two weeks ago I ordered some Rancho RS7000 Mts, and allowing for the 2" lift, and with the help of the guy on the phone I bought the 7000s part# 7264 for the front, and 7254s for the rear. The guy on the phone said they should work up to 2.5 lift.
Bottom Line; fronts are too long, called Rancho and told em what I was finding, and the guy says that the Ranchos are to be used with the Rancho 2.5 lift. Said they don't make a shock in between stock and the 2.5
I did some measuring on the rear shocks and am pretty sure they'll work but was hoping that someone out there can give me some advice on which shock for the front... Keeping in mind that when they put the lift on, the stock shocks stayed on the vehicle.
I know this is long but I felt context is important. thanks guys....
