rag joint
I want to replace my rag joint while I'm installing the rebuilt steering box. Are the aftermarket ones holding up OK?
I'd love to find a NOS part but I'm not having any luck.
NumberDummy is this the right part number for the rag joint? C9UZ3A525A
Can you locate any NOS parts?
This is for a 1970 F250 2wd with PS.

I've used the one from Autozone("Help" brand) without issue. Seem to be the same quality as the stock one. Never had one break again.
Just put one on my '89 last summer. I've used a few on my bumps also.

I just ordered a NOS joint part # C9UZ3A525A from Wesley Obsolete Parts for $65. The only one they had left.

Steering shaft has a
flange made as part of it that the steering coupler (rag joint) bolts to.
Noticed a post elsewhere in this forum a coupla seconds ago, that said roughly the same thing.

That was me Bill. I saw the question on the other rag joint post and commented after I posted here.
