I'd be up for it, but listen to me talk. I missed the last one and this one is questionable.

Hey you never know when something will come up. On Monday I am heading to the same plumbing place as my neighbor and he said that I might have a chance for a 4 year apprenticeship. It is rumored that I could be getting $12/hr from the start.

who knows what will happen.

that sounds like a good opportunity there - all the skilled trades like that are desperate for young people who are willing to learn - and no matter how bad the economy gets, the plumber will be employed, just like the rest of the service industries

Yeah I've heard the same. The issue is, I've never had an interests in plumbing. But there is a 90 day probationary period where they will see if I work out, and that will tell me if I might like to continue. I think I am ok with the physical labor part, it's more the mental things that I might not handle. I was also told that it is a construction type setting so everyone is pretty hard on each other. The main boss guy is also supposed to be uber religious and during an interview he will tell you how it is very bluntly. Of he doesn't like something about you he will let you know straight. I don't know if that's something I would deal with for long. Who knows.

Sounds kosher to me. This is the address correct?

302 Southwest 43rd Street
Renton, WA 98057

Alrighty then. I shall mark my calender. Tomorrow is the big day where I find out if I have that apprenticeship or not. And today we are going to continue slaving away on the bathroom renovation... I hope it goes smoothly the rest of the day.

Morning? So far it's been happy, I drove down the freeway with my hood unlatched and a can of PB Blaster, and some Deep creep rolling around under the hood. Luckily nothing happened, I had to pull over and shut it. Then off to an interview for a plumbing job. I start tomorrow bright an early.
