Electric fan conversions are great. I'm going to do one on my 79 at some point.
Kent is past my limit for distance. That's a 120 mile roundtrip. I like the meets, but not now when diesel is $4.30 a gallon. Sure it might only be $30 in gas, but I also have 14 in ferry fares, plus food....
I agree, and if it's too far to drive for someone, there is always next time. It isn't like we are having a huge part, just bumming around munching on food and enjoying the occasional brewski.
So lets have some location proposals.
Trying to move things around so one group does end up driving far
every time. That was the reason I posted the Kent place. We started out in Tacoma.
Renton is also a not so far for myself. I am up there at least every other week
anyway. I am on fixed income and have enough left over for some of the driving
but some don't have all the extra funds. So if we can find a place that is agreeable
lets give that a try.
I'm not going to voice an oppinion as I just found out I'll be working 7 10's for about two months.
Had a bunch of Dr. things today, so I am off. Feels good to just sit for a minute.
So anyone got any ideas yet? I think Pizza would be best this time. The only thing I can think of is the Pagliacci Bridle trails again out there in Kirkland. It's a bit of a drive for me and longer for Sean so if you are going to have issues with traveling that far, let us know. I could probably make it depending on when I get payed next and how much gas I can get.
As for a time, How about the 23rd? Say... 5pm again? If you northern guys can't make it then we can move it more south so it is easier for us. Otherwise if you guys had another place in mind then feel free to post it.
I had thought about the Triple X Burger but that is even farther for me.
I wouldn't mind the Renton round table. Only issue is the northern guys will have a ways to go. But let's hear from them. The Renton place would also cost less both in pizza and gas.
