Im just curious what the differences are between the VDH4 out of an 02 and a VDH5 out of an 03. I swapped them the other day because i wanted the 02 to have a stock tune (which the VDH5 had) instead of the superchips tune (which the VDH4 has). They both seem to run fine when swapped. Is there even a difference or did they need a new name for the next year?
I believe anything in the VDH family works with one another. I have VDH5 and sold my old DP chip to a guy running VDH4 and the chip worked just fine.
Nothing to worry about, you're fine.
I had VDH5 on my last truck, Tex is VDH4 I think. If I recall correctly (and I'm sure Cody will be quick to correct me if I'm wrong) the stock setting on my TS is VDH3, which has run fine in both trucks. Pretty sure they are interchangeable.

I'm not entirely sure what your attempting to ask or convey to us, but you could send your PCM to Diesel Tech Chattanooga and they will either repair it or tell you what your options are.
