DP tuner cuts out on economy mode
My chip only does this on economy mode driving and at random no throttle response. On stock and extreme I've never had a problem. It's only a 3 position chip with a dial, older I think. But anyways wondering if anyone has a solution ?

Tunes are written for the PCM code, not just a generic year, model, and engine. The fact that it runs at all is lucky. You need to send the chip in to DP to have it tuned for your PCM, and for them to make sure the tunes work properly. This will not be a free service - they charge for their stock in trade, which is tuning.
Your only other hope is to clean the edges of the PCM again - maybe you missed a spot when you installed the chip.

Being used its hard to tell how it was handled prior to you receiving it. Nonetheless, I feel the issue is a wire to the rotary **** is pulled out. This will explain why others work and that particular one doesn't.
We do have a manufactures warranty. If it worked for the previous owner it is likely from use and not a defect. If it never worked it is a defect when being made by the bots and we will replace it. However, these things do wear out over time and do need to be replaced just like a pair of shoes.

I had the exact same issue written in your response. I broke the switch down and cleaned it and reassembled. Two years now, no issues! Since I wrote about it, it will begin acting up tomorrow.
