looking into getting a TS chip from Beans, and would like to hear some opinions about the tunes and what tunes people are running from him. do the EGT's stay in check with his tunes? how does the tranny shift with the tunes? do they have good safe power? thanks for any respones!
i have 6637, 4" exhaust, and ported compressor housing.
how does your truck like the tunes? good shifts, good egt's, good power?
Just keep in mind that what works for one might not work for another. I agree it is a good idea to ask, but these trucks vary greatly from one to another. They are mechanically different, we use them different, terrain where we use them, some folks might not admit they made a mistake.
As you get closer to who to go with, ask that vendor a lot of questions. A lot.
One person's 80e might work better in your truck vs mine.
As I write this I don't remember if you have gauges, get them if you don't.
Have you made sure your engine/transmission is 100% before you power up? Gauges? I had issues (unknown at the time) and while tuning gave me more power, fixing my engine gave me as much power gain in stock tune as the chip did with a sick engine.

i do have gauges and the engine is great no oil in turbo, or exhaust, no blue smoke, (a little bit of white smoke the first time i start it when its cold but goes away in a minute or 2) trans is good, it shifts pretty hard sometimes but theres no slipping and i just changed the trans fluid and filter and checked the magnet in the bottom of pan and there was hardly anything stuck to it, so it seems 100% to me. i do have a very very small exhaust leak in the driver side up-pipe but i have it sealed up right now with some heavy duty exhaust sealant, dont think that would make much of a difference if it wasnt sealed.

if you dont mind me asking, when you say "sick engine" what was wrong with it?
