Gonna drain the TC and pan of an '03 4R70W, takes about 13 qts to refill---anyone got any tips how to refill it quicker than one quart at a time through the dip tube?
The only other way is to take the trans out of the truck, remove the converter and pump, and pour it in there. There are no other openings in the transmission to add the fluid.
How are you planning to drain the torque converter? There isn't a drain plug in the converter. You can either use a fluid exchange method to get it out, or you can take the trans out and remove the converter. Then dump the fluid out of it. While you're that far you can remove the pump and add the 13 quarts there if you don't want to add it like everyone else does, through the dipstick/fill tube.
