Yes I spend a lotta time on fordbarn and a little here on the '47- and a little on the fridge page. Those two places are pretty much 'ghost towns' compared to all the fun and games on this chapter! The ford barn has been quite accepting of me and all my frankentruck adventures. They are primarily a group based on original ford vehicles, but generally ok with 12v conversions and an occasional T5 swap. I think they keep me around as a sort of novelty as there are almost no build threads going on, and my trucks have a definate feel of something driven in the '40s-'50s as I run stock height and wheels. No slam with 22s here . In the world of 'correct ' restoration it is now possible to buy a fairly decent 40 ford for instance for 40k , or restore one for 140k, so not much incentive. Awful nice and extremely knowledgeble folks there though.
