Lug Patterns

I know the new superduties have some new metric 8 lug bolt pattern, but are all other 8 lug fords the same? And if so, are they the same as chebby and dodges? I was wondering if I can take a 16.5x9.75 8 lug wheel and put it on any truck across the board that has 8 lugs (aside from the superduties). I know the center hub holes maybe different sizes, but I just need to know if the bolt spacings are all the same. Thanks all...

I know that Ford's before '98 have the same 8 lug pattern and center hole as Chevy's before '88, and are completely interchangeable. I think Chevy kept that pattern through at least '99 but am not 100% sure. The new style Chevy's I have no clue about. Dodge is completely different.
