Okay, let me get this straight. When you turn the ignition key to the RUN position, you do get all the usual warning indicators on the instrument cluster illuminating, correct? What about the buzzing/clacking of the injectors? And what about the fuel pump on the driver side framerail? Do you hear them both cycling when you turn the ignition key to the RUN position (as you should)? So when you turn the key to the START position, the engine doesn't turn over (as in the engine doesn't spin) correct? Or does it turn over, but fail to start? Sorry if I'm going into too much detail, but I'm trying to understand fully what you are describing so the more information you can provide, the better I'll be able to assist you.

Neutral is to verify that it will crank over. You have never said whether or not it will. If your truck isn't recognizing that you are in park, it won't crank. Good to see you M-chan, I will let you lead.

Is the starter solenoid clicking at all? Check all connections at batteries and starter. Also check your grounds.

Translation: The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) won't supply ground to the ground side of the starter relay in order to complete the START circuit.

Other factors can cause this issue as well, but I'm more interested in understanding whether or not the engine will actually crank over.
