I have some power train warranty left on my truck and have been itching to get a 4 inch MBRP striaght pipe. Even though it is better for the turbo etc. I am assuming this would void the warranty I have left? Anyone have experience with this first hand?
The warranty is through a private company and they replaced the turbo no questions asked when I first bought the truck(Veins binded due to lack of use). And my experience with them has been positive so far if that makes a difference.
They have to prove that it caused the issue, so no it shouldnt.. at the same time, if you have the old parts.. its easier to have them installed before going into the dealer
My 03 has had Straightpipe with Muffler only Magna Flow SS since 05 did do some warenty deals since I really Liked my Service advise at ford he quite Ford Around time my warrenty was Done but never any issue he said Turbo Sensor one Day Truck Surged IDK what they did other then Turbo sensor But they Fixed it and My Truck Surged Going in had a CEL TOO IIRC
I think part of it would depend on if you have a nice and cool
person working in service that may over look some small things.
The only other way would be to get some one to stick there neck out
and put it on paper that it would be OK.
But if you have a good guy like Benny did then you may be ok also.
Yeah my service guy is a variable I do not really know him that well but he seems alright. I guess i will just wait it out, with all the warranty work done on 6.0's I can only imagine the lengths they will go to void it. Thanks for the info guys.
