Cool The Big Drain

Ok I looked around to see if anyone has had the same problem (I'm sure someone has) We all know it has been cold and Damm cold in some places. I have had some problems with the truck starting when not pluged in at nights.I understand It's cold! But the other moring I went out nothing! No lights nothing. Two dead batterys. Took them out of the truck topped them off charged them up (only a year old big napa batterys) back in the truck. It turned over but no start, plugged it in and left for about 2 hours came back and the batterys were dead again! When I hooked the batterys up I noticed a spark. I thought it may have been the fan being on or key on. Shut off everything touched the cable to the post and the same thing.
Has anyone ever had a GPR stick on even with the key off? Something is killing the batterys. Help I'm getting tierd of driving my Ranger

Any relay can stick. If it was the GPR i would be concerned about burning the tips on the glowplugs. Check the GPR, IAT, also check all "Key on" circuit fuses and see if any are powered at "Key off"

Thanks Alan, looks like I have my work cut out for me. If the damm wind would settle down I will have a chance to look at a few things. Alan
