Does anyone know for a fact if the fuel additive PM22 in the gallon container and PM22-A in the 20 oz. bottle are the exact same formulation. I would prefer to use the gallon size for economy. What would large fleets use.
All dealers should be able to get gallon size containers, you just need to ask the guy at the parts counter. I had my dealer price it and it wasn't any cheaper than buying the 20oz bottles.
The gallon is easier but it's nice having the 20oz bottles to keep in the truck. I put 4oz in each 20oz bottle and keep 2 bottles in the truck.

Diesel Filters online has it for $39.95 but is currently out of stock. I don't know what shipping costs are but if you combined it with other parts it might be the way to go.
FYI FoMoCo also makes a 6oz.
It's a one shot bottle.
I like it because I don't have any open containers in the truck or box.
6 pack/case part # PM-22-ASU.

It's been out of stock for over a year now. I read somewhere that they stopped selling it because two many shipments were damaged in transit.

That seems odd that it wasn't any cheaper. What price were you quoted for the gallon can? I bought a gallon about a year ago and if I remember correctly it was around $45.
