Oil Change Reset

Need some help on resetting the oil change message

Yes - I did RTFM but it does not match the information I am seeing

- Standard gauge cluster

The manual says press and release SETUP button to Oil Life XXX%

Problem 1 - i do not have this message

The manual says press and hold reset button for 2 seconds to reset to 100%

Problem 2 - the reset button press for much longer than 2 seconds - does nothing

Any help here would be appreciated

Cycle your menu thru till you come to the System Check section.
Choose the Oil Life section
Press and hold the OK button to reset.

Reset oil life

I have the standard screen. Get to message that says change oil, and hold the reset button down until it changes. Then answer yes to the question.

I have only done this once,

I think you get to the message by hitting top button which is setup then the bottom button which is reset.

The trick is hitting the upper "setup" button twice, that gives you the screen with the message to reset oil life to new.

Not sure what you're asking, but I know in the past I spent a lot of time hitting the three buttons and never getting to the right screen.

As you push the setup button (only) it toggles through a variety of things you can change, the first being "hold reset=new", hold reset a few seconds till the screen says its been reset. The "info" or center button takes you out of the menu.
