So are you pulling the switched 12v from the brown parking light wire? I'm having the same problem with flickering lights. Mine work just like the OP's video.
jsm180, Yes, I tapped into the dark brown wire on the light switch as my power source for the led dimmer.
The problem for me was that I used the Autometer Ford matched gauges for my A-Piller Pod and I used Isspro Ev2 Gauges on my Triple underdash pod.
The EV2's were too bright for me so I either needed to dim them or wear sun glasses. Besides I was like a lit fish bowl driving down the road at night.
I wouldn't have needed a dimmer for the Autometer Ford matched gauges as they were the same brightness as my dash lighting.
Thanks, I tried that and it didn't help the flicker. I've got the programmer coming but was hoping for a simple quick fix. Isspro confirmed what the earlier poster said about the auto headlights causing the problem.
Ok I've been searching hence the old thread. Are the Isspro EV2s THAT much brighter at night than say Autometers? Do you HAVE to have a second dimmer for them? I'm just getting around to installing my Isspros, can I just wire them straight to the oem dimmer?

They won't blind you if they are kept bright, they will just flicker if you try to dim them when you wire them that way. I always said I was going to adjust the wiring so I could turn them down, but they haven't bothered me at all.
Thanks Jeff. So you just have them straight wired so they come on with the light switch?
The main power comes on with the key. The lights are wired through the truck dimmer, then through the isspro dimmer. I remember a blue wire with pink trace in there somewhere, but I'm not 100% sure that was the dimmer. I know main power I used an add-a-fuse in the fuse box. I'll check, but it may be previously spelled out in this thread.

Isspro dimmer?? All I have is the guages, is the Isspro dimmer something I need before starting the install? That's kinda what I was asking, if they were too bright to run just by tapping into the head light harness using standard brightness.
