Did you get them where you wanted them? I have the same problem trying to match the gauge intensity to the dash. When I adjust the voltage in the ISSPRO program and hook them back up it doesn't appear to be doing anything. Damn it Jim!!!
I haven't ordered the software yet. I am waiting until I need something else and I'll tag that onto it. Sorry I can't help any further. If you have the software, maybe give isspro a call and see if they can walk you through it.
I had the same problem with my Isspro EV2 gauges. I know that some instructions say to wire the gauges to the dash light source and to use the dash dimmer but as you have found out there are issues.
Also I have some friends that burned out their dash dimmer by wiring it like described above.
You may want to try this:
1. Use the parking light wire for the power source.
(I used the dark brown wire on my light switch. If I remember it's the parking light power source. This way your gauges are only lit when you have your head lights or parking lights turned on. )
2. Buy an Autometer led dimmer.
3. Wire the dimmer to the power source mentioned above.
4. Set the led dimmer to match your dash panel lights (or however you want to set them)
You will be good to go.
On my 2000 F350 7.3L CC I have Autometer and Isspro gauges. My install was a bit different as I pulled a wire directly off my battery and installed a separate relay for my power but used the brown wire to activate my relay.
Maybe I'll do a write-up on how I did my wiring if there is any interest.

Sorry wrong info.
I used the light blue wire with red trace for the ignition-switched 12v source to power up the relay, not the dark brown wire.
The dark brown wire (on the light switch for the parking and running lights) is what I ran to the dimmer for the gauge lighting.
Yikes you are right! It is Light-blue/Pink trace. What was I thinkin?
Maybe it's time for me to go in for some new glasses.
So are you pulling the switched 12v from the brown parking light wire? I'm having the same problem with flickering lights. Mine work just like the OP's video.
