5R110W torqshift trani pump

Can't find any manuals for the 5R110 Trani online. Thought someone here could shed some light.....
FORD F350 Superduty - 5R110W torqshift transmission - pump removal - Trani is out, bolts removed from pump, puller attached to pump using 2 bolts.
Question;
- does trani need to be in a certain gear?
- is there a lock somewhere that need to be released prior to pulling out pump?
The pump is now 'loose' and rotates, but only lifts a few mm. Seems to be locked in.
I dont want to force it in even something else needs to be done.

You need to remove the filter from the pump. That's done through the pan.

I was hoping mot to remove the pan.

I have not been successful in finding a source to purchase the trani pump gears. Even Ford only sells the complete pump assembly. I found Transmission Super Store, but have not been able to get price and availability.
Are there any suggestions of where I could order the gear set?
Pump housing casting # is 5C3P-7A103-AA

It's a gerotor type pump and it the gears are bad your better off replacing
the full pump do to the clearances not being correct.
