Yup, I saw it, but have been so stressed out this week I didn't respond.......sorry.....
I've got a buddy that went to A&P school with me that is the engine man for one of the unlimited boats. I envy him greatly...
With any luck I hope to finish up the interior work on my drag boat next year. The 428 is already to install, just haven't had the time to work on the interior...
Just one more project to keep me busy next year...
When you get time and feel up to it, you will have to fill us in on the Port meeting. Since I don't see any indication that your ISP has changed to the county jail, I'm presuming someone behaved themselves?
You guys would be proud of me! I only said something just 5 min before it was over...
The whole thing was a "dog and pony show". Nothing was settled, and the LLC didn't ask for it back. Their still hoping for some funding, but it ain't gonna happen. The only one with ANY suggestions on what bisnesses to attract was ME! The engineering quotes were crazy! $420,000 to remodel each barraks (times 3...) is INSANE!
Another 1.2 MILLION to upgrade the water system. 1.4 million to upgrade the sewer system. For WHAT! They don't even have ONE bisiness that wants to move here, and they are looking for large companys to move here, and the county has almost no housing to put them in!
The whole bunch of them are MORONS!
We did force them to sign an agreement that they can't do anything without our approval tho.
I had a meeting with the LLC after the other meeting, and they LLC has said they will give them a couple more months to come up with a plan that will work. If not, they will take it back. Sure wish I had the capital to buy this place.......
I have two companys that would like to buy a building and move up here, but I told the Port and LLC NOTHING.
If and when I get a "piece" of the place, I'll talk with those two and make a deal for them, but not until then.....
Morning everyone, Don ever thought about contacting the companies that have fire handcrews, they could use the barracks and make up a training area for them, just a thought.
Good morning Oregon, happy Sunday! I'm bummed, though, Summer is officially over.....

Damn, Don, I was hoping this would all work out. Sucks dragging it out like this.
Morning Tiny, sorry to hear that. We had a pretty good rain on Thursday, but it's been nice ever since. I was alble to spend 4-5 hours sandblasting my cab on Friday.
