The farmers around here are going nuts. The wheat that was already planted all has to be reseeded, and the fields that haven't been planted now need to be rod-weeded again before they can be seeded. Not very good.

All the rain we've been having has put a "cap" on the field that the wheat sprouts can't break through. I went down to town yesterday and talked with a few of my customers and it looks like more than 20,000 acres will have to be reseeded...

Almost three inches in the last two weeks. We only get about eight inches a year..........
On a lighter note......My disabled Vet buddy Robin across the street gave me a gift yesterday! He found some antique tools on ebay and bought them for me. These tools are what was used before removable sockets were invented. I'm going to mount them on some really old barn wood and put it on the wall in my office.
