Long day here, but finished up two jobs that will bring in a tad over a thousand bucks, that will go right back out for more "stuff" for the shop.......

Good evening Oregon. Raining cats and dogs here. I think I'm drowning. I've moved to the up stairs computer out of self defense. Couldn't even get the horses to leave the barn and go out on the grass pasture this afternoon.
I was just checking my wood pellet usage report for Jan. through May 23rd for 2012 and 2013.
2012 = 101 bags, 4040#'s, 2.02 tons (roughly the equivalent of 2 chords of wood)
2013 = 85 bags, 3400#'s, 1.7 tons, (roughly the equivalent of 1 3/4 chords of wood)
So we haven't needed as much heat this year as we did last year. (Or else I made my wife wear her long handles more this year than I did last year)
I suppose if I was really getting excited I could go look at the monthly avg. temps listed on the power bills, but I'm too lazy for that.
