Looking forward to meeting ya! One question tho........Wouldn't it be more prudent to put your "stuff" in storage, take your USA trip, and then figure out where you want to settle? Seems like to me anyway, that that would save money and time, and hassle.......
I'm putting one of my son's in front of me. This will be a "just in case" place where we can go if we grow too old to take care of ourselves. I can always sell it if I find a better place.
You know your right tho, and plans change along the way, lol
My son Harley (33) is a brittle diabetic and lives with us. When Melody and I bought this house and shop 18 months ago, we put his name on it also, just so that if anything happens to us, no probate! When we're "gone" he will own it free and clear.......
I have 4. I would like the properties to be at that number, one for each, with the larger for the oldest, he is the one I can trust to make sure his mom is taken care of.
I will take the other investments, past and future, and split them 4 ways. I would hate to see the youngest just pizz the money away, but I won't be around to care at that point
I know for a fact that Harley will take care of Melody forever if something happens to me......
I just have Harley and my daughter Jayla. I've set up a "Living Trust" to take care of my investments, so they kids wont have to wait around and pay for attorneys. I hate attorneys..........
